Hi,

My name is Linda Stewart. I started out tracing everything at a young age. I attended Upper Bern School in Shartlesville, Pa. In 5th grade I had a project in geography class and I drew a map of North America and South America and received an A on my drawing. I attended Hamburg Area High School. I started to have more interset in drawing and painting. my art teacher was impressed with my work so she offered to get me started and I was excited only to find out that my mom and dad only thought I couldn't do it and couldn't make money on it. So I went to work and got married and had my son Timothy and my daughter Valerie, When my children went to school I started to attended the International Correspondence School in Scranton, Pa. and received a master arts award. I still wasn't satisfied so I went for 6 years of oil painting classes at Fred Wetzel’s art studio in Kempton, Pa. and 2 years of portrait classes at the Wyomissing Institute of fine Arts in Reading, Pa. Which I am not so good at. I also had 4 years of watercolor classes with my high school art teacher in her home in Hamburg. I received various ribbons from local fairs, markets and craft fairs.I paint animals, birds, landscapes, etc. from photographs

Now I would like to help people get started with drawing and painting. we can learn together because there is always thing to learn about painting. I have a wesite now, check it out: www.lindascraftworld.com
